Meet Josh
Co-Founder, East Avenue
Retrospect is a beautiful thing. When I look back on my journey to co-founding East Avenue, I can see how much my unorthodox path has shaped the way I work today.
I trained as a teacher, and those years spent listening, guiding, and adapting to people’s needs now influence every conversation I have with our clients. Later, I worked my way up in property, from a junior negotiator to a branch manager here in Hackney. Along the way, I saw first-hand the shortcomings of the industry and the impact it can have on people’s lives.
Those experiences made one thing clear to me: estate agency should be done differently. With honesty. With transparency. With care.
For me, the key to success is not just about transactions, it is about building trust. Many of our clients stay in touch, return for further advice, and come back to us when it’s time for their next move. That lasting connection is what drives me, and it’s what we’re building into East Avenue’s culture from the ground up.
